The following is the Privacy Policy for the services provided on the website of the Institute for AIM Medicine (hereinafter referred to as "the organization"). The term "Services" refers to the information provided on the website, acceptance of various opinions and feedback, and other related activities.

3.Management and Protection of Personal Information

The organization shall handle personal information with strict management, and except as otherwise specified below or with the individual's consent, the organization will not disclose or provide data to third parties. Additionally, the organization will take preventive and corrective measures to address the risks of unauthorized access to personal information, as well as the risks of loss, destruction, alteration, and leakage of personal information, considering its security.   1. When necessary for the protection of a person's life, body, or property, and obtaining consent is difficult
  2. When particularly necessary for improving public health or promoting healthy child development, and obtaining consent is difficult
  3. When cooperation is required to perform the duties prescribed by laws by national institutions, local governments, or their delegates, and obtaining consent may hinder the execution of such duties
  4. When entrusting all or part of the handling of personal information within the necessary scope for achieving the purposes of use
  5. When providing personal information due to mergers or other business succession
  6. When otherwise permitted by law

4.Joint Use

The organization may jointly use the user's personal data with the related companies of the organization as follows:
  1. Items of personal data subject to joint use
    All personal data of the individual unless otherwise specified by specific request from the individual.
  2. Scope of parties with whom the data is jointly used
    Business partners and contractors related to the organization's operations.
  3. Purpose of use by the parties
    As stated in Section 2, "Collection and Use of Personal Information."

5.Entrustment of Personal Information Handling

The organization may entrust all or part of the handling of personal information within the necessary scope, ensuring that the entrusted party is qualified and conducting appropriate supervision through contractual confidentiality obligations.

6.Disclosure and Other Requests Regarding Personal Information

Upon request by the user based on the Personal Information Protection Law, the organization will promptly notify or disclose the purpose of use of personal information or the records of providing personal information to third parties. However, this does not apply if the organization is not obligated to disclose it under the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws. Please note that a fee of 1,000 yen per request is charged for disclosure of personal information.

7.Correction and Suspension of Use of Personal Information

  1. If a user requests the correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "correction") of their personal information due to it being untrue, the organization will promptly conduct a necessary investigation to verify the request as being from the user or the individual concerned, unless special procedures are prescribed by other laws. Based on the investigation results, the organization will make the necessary corrections to the personal information and notify the user accordingly.
  2. If a user requests the suspension or deletion (hereinafter referred to as "suspension") of the use of their personal information on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the publicly announced purpose of use, used in ways that may facilitate or induce illegal or unfair actions, or obtained through fraudulent means, the organization will promptly conduct a necessary investigation and suspend the use of the personal information based on the investigation results. The user will be notified accordingly. However, if suspending the use of personal information incurs significant costs or if it is technically difficult, and alternative measures are available to protect the user's rights and interests, the organization may take such alternative measures.
  3. If a user requests the suspension of providing their personal information to third parties on the grounds that it is being provided to third parties in violation of the procedures stipulated in Article 27, Paragraph 1, or Article 28 of the Personal Information Protection Law, the organization will promptly conduct a necessary investigation and suspend the provision of personal information to the third parties based on the investigation results. The user will be notified accordingly. However, if suspending the provision of personal information to third parties incurs significant costs or if it is technically difficult, and alternative measures are available to protect the user's rights and interests, the organization may take such alternative measures.
  4. If a user requests the suspension or deletion of their personal information on the grounds that it is no longer necessary for the organization's use or that circumstances have arisen as described in Article 26, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Law, which may cause harm to the user's rights or legitimate interests, the organization will promptly conduct a necessary investigation and suspend the use or provision of personal information to third parties based on the investigation results. The user will be notified accordingly. However, if suspending the use or provision of personal information incurs significant costs or if it is technically difficult, and alternative measures are available to protect the user's rights and interests, the organization may take such alternative measures.

8.Personal Information Sent via Google Forms

For message submissions such as inquiries, the organization uses Google Forms as the message sending system. Google has its own privacy policy, and the organization is not responsible for it. Please check Google Forms' terms of use and privacy policy for more details.

9.Use of Google Analytics

The organization uses Google Analytics, an access analysis tool provided by Google, to collect data using cookies. This data is collected anonymously and does not identify individuals. Users can refuse data collection by disabling cookies. For more information, please refer to Google's website.

10.Procedure for Changing the Privacy Policy

The organization will review the content of this policy as necessary and strive for improvement. Except for matters stipulated in other laws and this policy, the content of this policy may be changed. The revised privacy policy will take effect from the time of notification to users or its publication on the organization's website.
